This name we had design before tour and after summary all lengths of roads. We had output more 5600km to forward and bak to home. Why “Wildchild”? The fanny nickname Maxim had got since him activity.

On begin the tour Maxim had 5½ mouth of age.

We will have been

• meeting with relation and friends
• some time living at old family house
• traveling-training at mountain

All the targets are including to generic target as complex family development.

We already had experience & knowledge for traveling with baby during half of year. We had 9 one day hikes and 3 third day hikes. Also I had wrote own article “How to travel with a baby” based on the experience.

Since that we have been some understanding how to travel with baby and can to plan/design more long traveling.

The traveling had summary duration 34 days. Total time of drive was 9 days with watching time between trains (yes, over 5600km on railways).

We had used railway transport on long parts of the tour and local bus (or railway) on local ways. Air transport we don't used since Maxim was very young & little for this transport.

Mountain part of the tour (my solo hike) have describe on Caucasus, 2013.

All targets of the traveling had achieved with good quality & results. We almost don't had deviation from our plan.

Logistic of traveling have been realize on plan, ticket had been purchased in advance, equipment and clothes had been conform to weather, we always had enough of water, food & sleep. Comfort had been enough for us as travelers with experience.

Little realized risks on the way had anticipate responses and had been covered with our resources.

Since quality of road services in Russia is too far from better, on example don't exist baby rooms at railway station, we were creating our solution on fly. Do we have crazy major repair of railway station and we don't have child room? We go out to quietly side of station, add two backpack together and we have baby cot “on fly”.

Did we had any problem with child on road? No. Maxim had been good feel on the way, always to smile for people around and too often had returned smile. Him had been interesting the traveling into level his age, and this can seen on photo below.

• Budget had been planned & realized with maximal performance. We have maximal covered targets per one credit. Tour operators can shoot themselves.
• Dates & times evaluated reasonable.
• Equipment had been good response on general condition of the tour, no more no less.
• We anytime had been have enough sleep, food & others needs.
• Targets of the tour had reached with good quality
